A guidebook to the spectacular and growing climbing of the State of Jalisco, Mexico.
The development of sport climbing in Ixcata exploded in 2002, in the area called “the main wall”; at that time, old-school anchors and rings were already found on some rocks on the side of the river of the hot springs. At present it is the climbing area with more roads in Jalisco, with around 160 routes, and with a lot of rock potential to continue developing!!
I am very grateful that this project is finally completed. We have been developing one of the best climbing areas in Jalisco for 12 years. There is much to do, but thanks to the support and effort of many people, we are on a very good path. Thanks to all of you who have collaborated and have grown this place and climbing nationwide.
