This area is comprised of Harney Peak and the ridge to the N of the massif, Nelson Creek Ridge. Nelson Creek Ridge is home to countless Conn routes, a new classic (Velcro Kangaroo), and the Harney Peak ice flow in the winter. The granite laced ridgeline intersects Nelson Creek on the Black Elk Wilderness boundary. This ridge has one of the highest concentrations of Conn routes on the E side of the divide and an amazing view of the Harney Peak. All routes are in the Black Elk Wilderness and require a bit of hiking to access.
