From Highway 157, continue up Echo Canyon Road to the Trail Canyon trailhead. The Hood lies on the left side of the canyon and is visible from the trail. At 8000ft altitude, this is a great scenic destination to escape the Vegas heat. Home to some great moderates and a high concentration of some of the hardest routes in the area.
