TV Tower is an infrequently visited crag about 20-30 minutes south of Lion’s Head, depending on the final dirt road condition, and the vehicle you’re driving. Because of the difficult road access and unknown access status, it’s only visited by climbers looking for something different from Lion’s Head and White Bluff. The trail is often overgrown. Beware of poison ivy and rusty bolts. For most sport routes, ten quickdraws are enough. The current access situation is unknown. The farmer who owns the land tolerates climbing. Keep a low profile, follow the OAC’s access rules, and DO NOT CAMP HERE because you could permanently close access. There are several affordable camping options around, or sleep in your car somewhere else - just not here. TV Tower faces east, so you’ll have morning sun. Routes are listed from north to south, or climber’s right to left. The Ontario Access Coalition is also requesting for volunteers to assist with this area.
